Is a urinary tract infection always an STD? |
I heard that a urinary tract infection is always an STD for guys. What about girls? No. UTI isn't an STD. It's an infection. It can be caused from holding your pee for too long, not drinking enough water, having a pathogen or bacteria in there, or for women laying in bathtubs. Women are more suseptible because their urethras are shorter than mens. It has nothing to do with STD's. |
