Re: uterine cancer? |
I had an endometrial biopsy done-too much tissue and bleeding after menopause- now I have to have a mass removed and biopsy done-tissue came back ok-can it still be cancer? any help? I would think it is unlikely to be a cancer. However, if your doctor suggests removing your uterus, LET HIM. There is always a chance of getting a false negative on a biopsy. You wouldn't be the first person, but it isn't likely. Many people have benign uterine masses after menopause. Please just see your doctor for any recommended follow-up appointments and for a yearly physical and you should be fine. Since the biopsy came back negative, I wouldn't sweat it. Are you saying that the biopsy was negative for cancer? That is very good news! |
