| *Women health>>>Uterine Cancer |
Hi ladies. I have a serous quesiton here. but this question is about cancer of the uterine.? |
I just want to know why is it that the cancer patient bleeds irrlegular and unexpectantly? and spots dark blood and light pinish blood with this? I will be 39 in less than one month. I will be chemo but nor sure about a hystorectomy as I heard there is complications with that. so what I want to know is why is it with this cancer you bleed like a period and then it stops and then starts again with eithr small spotting ar bigger spotting? I am menopausal now. and have a growing uterus with a tumour inside and it is spreading. I am bleeding now as I type this and I am lost in what I should do.My doctor wanted me to go to the er 2 days ago for this bleeding but I did not go as I was too tired as the blood loss is making me fatige. anyhow I just wanted to ask why do you get bleeding of and on like a period with this cancer? No it is not a period. I have menopuse, as my mother went through it as 34 and never got another period again. Please help me by answering this quesion, and if there is any doctors or RNs out there that might be able to assist that would be good. Thank you Please go now , you need immediate help. I have a friend who has the same problem as yours. She is now recovering and just got back to work. She was very ill last December, uncontrollable bleeding also almost everyday for 2 months. If you are going to go to your doctor about this, isn't it a little silly to pay him to tell you what to do, and then you don't do it? I think, with the little info you gave, I would go to an oncologist, (dr who does nothing but take care of cancer). I would push to have my uterus and ovaries removed before that cancer spreads, that's called metastasize. While having that done I would want to know did they get it all. They should be removing enough around the cancerous area that they also remove a bit of tissue that must be without cancer, they should do that all around the cancerous area. You're fortunate that it's not your breast which is an emotional removal. Losing your uterus at your age won't be any big deal, after you recover from the surgery. If they remove it all, they probably will still want you to take chemo just to make absolutely positive. I had mine removed while I was in my 20's, I'm 50 now and I still don't regret having my uterus and ovaries removed. I'm not a doctor, just someone who has had a personal experience with it. I would really push to get the surgery, honest. |
