Is there a safe way to minimize appearance of varicose veins or prevent more from appearing??

I'm only 22 years old and I'm already seeing varicose veins in my legs. They are common in the older females in my family. I would love to be confident at the beach this summer - help!!

To help minimize them you need to support the legs, especially if you're on your feet for long periods of time. Buy some support hose/compression stockings, these are the first steps to prevention. Exercise is a great way to increase circulation in the legs and watching your weight and diet will also help, low-salt, high-fiber is considered the best. Avoid stilettos and tight clothes around the waist, legs and groin. Elevate your legs as much as possible when resting and don't ever sit with them crossed. Now these are preventative measures, they'll help but they won't cure. Surgery cures and apparently laser treatment has been proven to be a less invasive form of surgery.
