Varicose vein irritation? |
I have a new varicose vein on the inside of my right leg @ knee level (feels like a small bump). I was pressing it quite a bit last night to see how big it was and this morning it was quite tender and a bit sore. Is that a bit of bruising from my touching it or is it something more? Don't want to go to doctor if it's just some bruising that will go away. It's my first varicose vein (40yrs old). My father was prone to them Hi, get some tight fitting socks/stockings. varicose are caused by blood not going back up to your heart, and it starts to "pool". stockings help to aid in venous return. |
