My husband has a horribly big varicose vein behind his knee. He has been complaining of really bad pain in that area. He is a tough guys so I know it must be bad for him to complain about it. Sometimes it is so painful he can barely walk. I am trying to get him to the doc but he is stubborn. Anyone heard or seen anything like this before? If he reads this maybe he will go.
Insist he go to the doctor!!! He could have peripheral vascular disease or thrombophlebitis. He could have a blood clot that could break free and travel to his lungs, killing him! Better safe than sorry! Go to the doctor and ask that they order a venous doppler of his leg!!!!!!!! |
