Varicose veins and circulatory issues?

After three live births, I can understand why my body would begin to fall apart, and I expected varicose veins since my mother has them. Is there anything I can do to get my health back? I can't even do a normal amount of everyday walking without my feet and legs hurting. What would be your suggestions?

This information is from Medline Plus:

Treatment is usually conservative. The patient will be asked to avoid excess standing, elevate the legs when resting or sleeping, and to wear elastic support hose.

Treatment may be requested to improve the appearance. Surgery such as vein stripping and ligation (removal of the varicose vein), or sclerotherapy of veins (injecting with a solution that causes scarring, which closes the vein) may be recommended. Vein stripping is a very extensive procedure, and it is usually reserved for patients who are experiencing a lot of pain or who have skin ulcers. Compression stockings are a miracle. They help to push the fluid and blood back up out of the legs. Try to prop your feet up as much as possible. If you can, sleep with pillows under your feet. Also, there is a process called sclerotherapy where the veins can be injected. Good luck. I am on my feet all day and have vv on both legs front and back. I have 2 kids. If you are overweight, that will affect these as well.
