Help for Varicose veins and broken blood vessels?

Have you had varicose veins or broken blood vessels on the legs? Have you had treatments for it? If so, what has worked best; laser treatments, saline injections, surgery?

I had a phelobectomy (surgical removal of the veins) from crotch to ankle, I preferred to have this done awake, with just local shots for anethesia. Well it has been 2 years and they still are gone. There was alot of bruising, but it was worth it. I suggest if you go this route, to wear ted stockings to prevent blood clots and swelling. I also had one leg where there was an injection, although it was not saline, that vein too has remained gone. Your doctor will know the best solution for you depending on the severity.
contact your doctor first. this way, you will know what alternatives are available medically and if they are covered by your insurance.
