Are all BULGING veins varicose veins? |
Are all BULGING veins varicose veins? No. Bulging veins are not varicose veins. Bulging veins are normal in physically-developed persons; pathologically they could be signs of hypertension. yes I imagine so. i think vericose veins are the purple ones you get on your legs -- It depends on what you're doing to make them bulge...! The word varicose comes from the latin 'varix', meaning enlarged vein. My old Collins English dictionary defines 'varicose' as 'an abnormally and irregularly swollen vein'.
