How to get rid of varicose veins?

How to get rid of varicose veins?

Look up the "Closure" technique. I think its called Venus Closure. Google it and you should find a website. It's more effective then the injections and less invasive than stripping. If you have a few that are very large you might still have to have them taken out after the closure. You're insurance will probably cover a procedure if you've tried the usual things like elevation and compression stockings etc. Just make sure you get an insurance predetermination.
Varicose veins generally need to be removed surgically. Contact a doc and see if that's what you need.
Surgery is definitely one way. The procedure is called vein stripping and you do not want to know how it is done. Another option is to have injection of sclerosing agents into the vein to occlude the vein. Other options for people with varicose veins are to avoid standing too long if it is not necessary. Put your feet up when you are seated or lying down. Wear support stocking (available for both men and women) to prevent varicose veins. Please see your doctor for evaluation of you varicose veins and for proper management.
