What can i do about my bleeding varicose veins? |
a vein in my left leg sometimes breaks open and squirts blood everyware. I usually wear a bandaid for awhile and it finally stops. However this last time everytime i take the bandage off it starts in again. I mean lots and lots of blood. I called a dr office and they told me just to keep my leg up and apply pressure. I have done that and when I remove the bandage it squirtsa blood again. It has been 2 days now and it hasn't stopped.I'm getting worried. You need to see another doctor and maybe have them removed. You also should wear support hose, they are very tight ugly hose that apply alot of pressure. Apply aloe vera gel, it is a cooling soothing topical treatment for veins, (according to "Prescription for Nutrional Healing"). Definately get a 2nd opinion, they should NOT be bleeding like that.
