Can surgery remove a large varicose vein located behind the knee of your left leg?

can surgery or injections remove spider veins on the same leg only located next to the knee cap forever...never to come back again....

From the research I have done the veins can re surface. However there is a type of injection they can use that basically shrinks the vessel and makes it non-functional. My concern with that was how much pressure would be placed on the other vessels having to pass the extra volume of blood. Go on line and look up Thrombosis and Spider veins.
