Lately there been increasing of violence of men against women, and children,what can we as men do about this.?

I strongly belive that it starts in how parents raise their young,
and the ideals they instal into them.
I mean I was treated about as dirty as you can be by my ex wife by her bringing another man into our home to live with her while I was still living in the home then she took my children whom she knew that I loved with all my heart and left.
taking them as far out of state as possible so that i would never be able to inforce my visitation rights.
But I knew were to draw the line even thogh I felt the need to get even.
I also considered what i did would effect the children in how they percived me.
So I let her do this and I talk to my children over the phone and they are young yet and they ask me on occasion why things did not work between me and there mother and I simply say to them that these are issues I dont think you need to be faced with at this time in your life and when you grow older if you feel the need to ask why then I will discuss this with you.
the reason I am passive to that nature has to do with my upbringing I was raised by my grandparents and I was always told to never and I mean never hurt a women or my chidren . men have to remember that any type of person be it male or female if they treat others porly they will be treated porly as well in thier lifetime.
ie karma what goes around comes around.
that should be the way that we think on these type of issues not by acting on our primal instinct's
but keep in mind this does not aplly to protecting yourself I still feel that its your right as a man to protect yourself and your children by any means possible.

One other point I would like to make is that women have been killing men and their children (grown children as well as infants and unborn.)as well this is not just isulated to men.
