What are some songs or movies that promote/ glamorize violence against women?

I still hate "A Clockwork Orange" because of what it depicts as "art"... I saw it for the first time at a friend's house, several days after I had been assaulted. It astounded me that people heralded it as a masterpiece, when it is a perfect example of violence against women glamourized.

Don't ever watch "The General's Daughter" either.

Btw the Prodigy song, "Smack My ***** Up" is about slamming heroin. Not any better, but it is a common misconception that it's about violence towards women.

Sadly much of what is now on the radio demoralizes women in a huge way as well.

well, as for songs, lotta rap stuff and play-it-with-your-feet gutter punk. As for movies, the only one that comes to mind is "A Clockwork Orange." Still one of my favorite movies, even if it's depiction of rape for laughs made me a bit uneasy, then and now. Mostly because I found myself laughing in spite of myself.

Movies: Chinatown, Blue Velvet, Psycho, just to name a few.

There is this movie called "Not Without My Daughter". It shows violence against women.
