I'm opposed to violence against women; but is it fair that 10 people beat up this guy?

Did the woman deserve to be slapped? Did the guy deserve to be beaten up like that? Apparently this was an episode of an Indian reality tv show gone wrong in which the women is supposed to act nasty to the participants but in this case went overboard. Surely they just needed 2 people to restrain the contestant whilst 3rd person got some ice for the woman.

If someone categorized a video of 10 men hitting a woman as 'comedy'....

if the contestants signed up for a reality show, or knew what was coming then no, she didn't deserve to be slapped. But I guess if you sign on for a reality show, whether as a contestant or an employee, you're going to have to expect some strange stuff.

I don't think it was so much that he slapped her, as that he kept on trying to fight afterwards, so new people kept jumping in and getting involved. Crazy :-)

What do you mean did the woman deserve to be SLAPPED, the guy freaking punched her. Now, I don't know why she slapped him, but he could have at least just pushed her away instead of punching her in the face. And I wouldn't have minded that guy getting a few punches to get a taste of his own medicine,but no, he didn't deserve to get beat up by like twenty other people.

Too many people in this world think violence of any kind is okay. And far too many people enjoy violence - "cat fights", pub brawls, football hooliganism - even in sports we condone hitting each other.
I think it is all hypocritical. Every weekend in our town the young men climb into each other, insulted by some misdeed. And it usually is the young men. Indeed a few months ago a young man was knifed.
Should he have hit her back? No - he should have laid a charge of assault.

She should have expected it to tell you the truth.
In my mind NEVER hit someone if you're not prepared for the same in retaliation.
I normally would never hit a woman even if she hit me.
She seemed to think about it before she did it too, and him it was more of a reaction to being hit.

I'm genuinely not surprised. That's pretty typical of societies reaction to female on male violence - she started it, he retaliated instead of standing there and taking it, like he's expected to, and gets a hammering from ten other blokes as a result.

If it's part of the show than I really don't think the chick deserved to be slapped. The guy knew going in that stuff like this was going to be going on. I really don't think they needed 10 people though, that guy probably weighed 100 pounds, tops.

In today's world of 'equality' (LOL), a woman deserves what she gives and viceversa. That was bullying on her part and on the part of those who jumped the guy was *responding* to having been abused and publicly humiliated by the woman.


Also, this serves to demonstrate that women are NOT treated like dirt in these less developed countries like feminists pretend. Sure, it does happen - yes - but NOT in the volume feminists pretend. Clearly, the guy came off considerably worse than the woman... I think it's clear which one receives the majority of abuse and which one is protected over there...


Clearly, this demonstrates how badly foreign countries need a copy of the sexist and bigotted law, VAWA... looks to me like they need a VAMA there (and most western countries these days thanks to promotion of hate towards men).

well, you can watch more of the show on there too... she has a whip and is a dominatrix, slapping people and spanking them is part of her job. These guys should have signed some sort of release waivers or known what they were getting into on the show. The show also has them do fear factor like challenges while being spanked by this hot chick so why would he be particularly offended that she slaps him and tells him to f off. What's at the heart here is a lack of communication and someone forgot the safety word. Which is to be expected when you start taking these types of activities to prime time game shows, the general public is not nec versed on the intracacies of sadeo masichism. And also all involved did not know what they were doing. She didn't know how to be a dom and he didn't know how to be a bottom.

Although not true, she didn't seem that upset although still she herself is not a genuine pervert just plays one on tv. and obviously the producers and other workers did not know what they were doing nor belong on the show if that offends them. you're going to be eating donkey turds in a minute you think i won't smack a bi up.
