Is commiting violence against a woman worse than commiting violence against a man?


Doesn't making special laws for female violence victims negate the entire idea of equality for the sexes? isn't it just as wrong to shoot a man in the head as it is to shoot a woman in the head?

Committing violence is wrong.

Please provide examples of laws in western democracies which deal 'differently' with one gender.
Hint: you won't find any.

Laws are made to deal with the perpetrators of violence, not the 'victims', as you erroneously claim. Can't even get that part right, I see. Source(s): You guys spend so much time making up this crap - perhaps your time and energy would be better spent on a little reading (of credible sources).

Actually domestic violence laws are gender nuetral, and I've arrested several females for assaulting males. If the matchup is really uneven , the guy gets arrested. such as a 250 lb man hitting a 105 pound woman. The law focuses on who is vulnerable, thus offenses against children are considered worse.
Violence against either gender is wrong.
There is a question of who is a more vulnerable victim. Isn't it the same when you shoot a blind man instead of one who can see.

There is no special law that protects women from being shot in the head. Under the law. men can be shot in the head as equally as women.

no, its not that coz violence against any of the gender is bad but it is judged by the situations in which violence has taken place as mostly ( in India) women are treated badly coz still there exists caste n sex discrimination thts why so if such a thing happens then yes its wrong to commit any violence against a woman.....
