I am doing a senior exit project on violence against women, is anybody interested in becoming interviewed? -visit your local battered women's shelter, they might be of assistance, oh call first to make an appointment., Good luck,..,. bye,..., http://www.womensshelters.com I like to get interviewed Sure. You can e-mail me. Can you contact me through my profile? (Don't want to post my e-mail and get tons of spam!) Why do you not do one on violence against people, Women, Men, and most importantly Children, there is too much violence in the world, and it is not all directed at women. Just one suggestion~~make sure to include mental violence just as importance as any physical violence against women, but since it's difficult to prove, NOBODY will give you any help for it. They want to SEE bruises and broken things. My ex was into mental violence....he went so far as to light a fire in a wood stove in the middle of July and come home at lunch and ask me WHY the HECK I had the heat on??? I was clueless and didn't know at the time why it was so hot in the house, as I'd never look in a wood stove in July for a fire. He was trying to make me think I was losing my mental faculties....but I got smart from that day on.....and finally WON, when I graduated at age 47 from Nursing school with my RN and didn't need him or his child support any longer. Oh! I still took it! but the fact that I didn't need it....was better than any 'act' I could have done to him for all the mental abuse. So please consider mental abuse when writing your paper....there are a lot of sicko men out there trying to do evil things and covering them up. |
