Weight management? |
Can anyone tell me the best way to lose weight. I am trying for about 60 lbs. I have tried weight watchers, physicians weight loss, and 3 different types of diet pills. I have seen doctor and noone seems to be able to help. I try to exercise, but not too much due to my busy schedule. I don't eat regular meals. Not eating regular meals could be your biggest challenge. Try the following: 1) Ensure you are drinking plenty of water. This can erradicate hunger, keep you energized, and the fluids help flush your system out. 2) Add a good solid breakfast to your agenda and a decent lunch. 3) Keep supper light and don't eat before bed. In my case, I eat a good breakfast, a decent lunch, an afternoon snack, a light supper, and then I try to call it good (unless supper was early, then I have a light, early evening snack). If I'm so hungry it hurts before bed, I drink a glass of milk and that usually does the trick... Good luck! Source(s): Dropped 50 pounds in about two years - No dieting, just lifestyle changes. OK I can help, i am 18 and i weigh 98lbs, just go anerixic, or bullemic It takes an involved will. I understand your problem very well. I have only had success when I have made a serious decision to just do it. It's hard. There isn't an easy answer or bill, unfortunately. Those who do it are just sticking with it. Good luck! Losing weight is a energy balance - calories in - calories out < 0 One has to decrease calories or increase energy expanded in order to lose weight. One also has to eat smaller meals throughout the day. If you're busy, maybe gastric bypass is for you - but people put the weight back on 5 years later. Get a membership to a gym, and reduce your meal size. Avoid snacks, and don't forget to eat any meal or you will junk out later. I'm on the Weinerschnitzel Chile Dog Diet... They say you just can't lose on this diet. I gotta admit, i've tried every diet out there... and this has been the easiest one to stick to. Not sure how much I've lost... I tend to avoid scales... they can be so rude. But I strongly recommend this diet... you won't feel the least bit deprived. Good Luck. |
