Please Answer... My wife has a yeast infection and is 5-months pregnant.? |
My Wife has a yeast infection & her Ob/Gyn gave her the cream today that she should oint on herself it says to fill up little stick and stick it to vagina does she leave the stick in her vagina or just oint the cream and then stick out the stick??? she is confused!!! She never had this before... Please don't be rude you fill the tube up with ointment then put the tube in her vagina and push on the tube to let the ointment out into her vagina then take the tube out. The ointment should be inside and out of the tube. It sucks, but women are more prone to yeast infections when they are pregnant. I hated it ITS NO BOG DEAL DONT WORRY SHE CAN TAKE MONISTAT OR GYNELOTRIMIN THATS WHAT I TOOK WHEN I HAD YEAST AT 6 MONTHS PREGNANT Tell her its just like a tampon! No you don't leave the stick in there, that would be rather uncomfortable! Everything will be fine if she does exactly what the directions say! I wouldnt have sex until shes done with her treatment! I'm pretty sure it tells you that on the directions as well... you stick the tube in and then push the cream out into the vagina then remove the tube. You can do this at bedtime so the medicine doesn't leak out while she walks around etc. yes take the stick out I had the same prob, she jus leaves the cream and take the stick out. it does justice trust me. Just the cream... take the stick tube thingy out after inserting the cream! Screw plastic inserter thing on the top tube. Squeeze the tube and it fills the plastic inserter thingy. JESUS the tube comes out ... OUCH!!!!!!! lol The stick does not stay in. You know what my midwives told me and it worked like a charm? Take a bath with a cup of apple cider vinegar. It changes the PH balance and cures the yeast infection...it works too! |
