I don't know why girls think they need to make a deep dark secret out of the most mundane, trivial things. I can't imagine being afraid to tell my mother I had a yeast infection.

Go buy some Monistat from the drugstore and read and follow the directions. If that doesn't make it better, you will HAVE to go to a doctor, like it or not.

If you have any extra cash, head to any store like CVS or even Walmart and pick up yeast infection treatment. They're pretty inexpensive. Try Monistat.

However, your mom has been there and done that no doubt. Don't be afraid to talk to her. She'll only want to help :)

Trust me, TELL THEM! Everyone gets them and they're nothing to be embarrassed of--you didn't do anything wrong! If you go to your doctor they can prescribe this wonderful pill called "diflucan" which gets rid of the infection in mere hours. I have found that none of the over the counter creams work. Trust me--anything is better than living in itchy, burning misery!

Are you a girl or guy? Anyhow talk to your mom and doctor, you have to make sure that is yeast and nothing else. If you are a girl, Monistat does help. And I am not sure what guys do in this case.
