My dog has a ear yeast infection, dose anyone know how to help this or what it even is?

she is a 4year old lab roxie and she plays all day with my small dog who bits on her ears i dont know if that is the problem but roxie's ear (even tho we have taken her to the vet and gotten treatment ) has red spots in it and the fur is like wet inside im worried please help!!!!!!!!!

Epi otic can be used to help clear a yeast infection but it sounds as though her ear needs further treatment.
Make sure you dry the ear after cleaning.
If the ear needs to be flushed I would have it done by your vet.
You should not be pouring the ear cleaner directly into the ear
It can be painful as well as stressful.
Making ear cleaning a nightmare for owners and pets.
Soaking a cottonball is enough cleanser.
Massage the base of the ear
Then clean/dry out the ear with cottonballs.
For yeast infections vets commonly dispense animax or tri-otic.
They have a soothing affect on the ear and treat the yeast.
The skin of the ear may need some systemic antibiotics.
I would schedule a recheck for the vet to reassess the ears.

This is easy to diagnois and easy to cure. First time ear problems or pets with a history of occasional ear problems that readily respond to simple treatment, and the ear tissue is normal except for being a little irritated. These are generally rewarding to treat. This is the chronic ear infection that makes the dog miserable and smelly and even though it gets improved with treatment...keeps coming back. And the ear tissue changes to become thicker, spongier, and more productive...secreting large amounts of inflammatory glaze and goo. Lvermectin is working well {is what I'm hearing}.

When I got my pup I noticed her ears smelled like yeast and she had little bumps on her ears it looks like acne her ears were dirty too full of wax all I did was bathed her I use Adams shampoo it gets rid of ticks and fleas and I cleaned her ears out with q-tips very carefully and it went away I told the vet about it and he said just to continue what I was doing since it seemed to work!

Get some Epiotic to put in the ears on a regular basis (a few times a week). It's just like a yeast infection in humans, only it's in the ear.
