I took a one day yeast infection medicine on Sunday night.....? |
I thought I was getting better the last couple days and today, I feel just as itchy. Do those one day medications work well? Should I get a seven or three day and start over? I hate yeast infections and it's rare for me to get them. I am nursing my nine month old baby, and got my first period since before pregnancy at the same time the yeast infection started. I thought that was weird and even more uncomfortable. Does a period sometimes cause a yeast infection? I would try the three day treatment. I never had success with the one day treatments. My ob/gyn had me do the 7 day treatment when I was pregnant and if it didn't clear up do another seven days. That sucked! Also try wet tea bags on that area for itch relief. Sounds crazy but really works! try the 3 or 7 day...if that doesnt help, make a doctor appt. :0) You sound like you have an insulin resistance problem. Your blood sugar could be out of whack and causing yeast problems (it's VERY common to get a yeast infection with your period) |
