Has anyone tried home remedies to cure yeast infections?

*Put yogurt on a tampon and change every 2 hrs to cure yeast infections. Has anyone ever tried this and if so, did it work?

I've never tried yogurt internally. However, if you eat yogurt with live and active cultures the cultures may eventually help regulate the yeast. It won't cure an actual infection though. Sounds crazy but while living in another country where yeast infections medication was not sold over the counter, I used a cotton ball soaked with white vinegar to clean the inner labia. This helped to relieve the itching associated with the yeast. Be warned, it will sting a bit.

Yeast infections are so common its ridiculous and they always seem to come at the worse times. I had it for 6 months at one point which was a real low point and I hated the idea of using all those chemicals so I did some research on the internet and found one particular website so useful since it was completely natural!

I have never tried that and I'm skeptical of it. True, some yogurts have acidophilus but I've always heard that was more for the prevention of yeast infections. I just use the monistat 1 day treatment with the external cream as well. It usually clears up in 3 to 4 days.

I don't use it with a tampon, but I "inject" it with one of those plastic applicators. You can also slather it on before you go to bed. It absolutely works. My doctor was the one who told me about it, and I've had no issues with it. Just be sure to buy plain yogurt. Don't get the fat-free kind. And make sure the label says "Contains live and active cultures." Honestly, it works wonders.

Not exactly that, but something similar. I had a very old, very wise lady tell me to buy some plain yogurt with active cultures, grab a magazine, sit in the tub and smear the yogurt everywhere down there - inside and out. I did it twice a day for 2 days and woke up on the 3rd day totally cured!

well your not supposed to put yogurt
directly on the tampon.

but your supposed to eat it non-stop.
and allot of dariy products allong with it.

but mainly yougurt.
my baby cousin had one and her mom
fed her a buttload of yougurt and it was gone
in about 3 days.

yep the yogurt has bacteria that are found in us women and also even tho its not recommended anymore to douche.. i read somewhere to do it with vinegar and water(its the same ph as your girl parts).. tried both..and they worked for me...

just spend the $ 4.oo and get Butoconazole or
Miconazole
Clotrimazole
Tioconazolet at a drug store
