If I have a yeast infection, should I rinse myself? |
I have a yeast infection, and I was wondering if it was beneficial to rinse away the yeast buildup on the outside of my vagina. Will this help it get better faster? You of course want to employ proper hygiene habits to help prevent and control a yeast infection. Definitely keep the area clean, but try not to rub it, that will just spread the yeast (and the itch). The only way to cure it is to take either over the counter medication (Monistat etc.) or prescription medication. And definitely start medicating yourself right away or the infection could get really bad. I've just had a yeast infection. I washed with warm water, no perfumed products like soap or bubble bath, and most importantly I religiously used my canasten cream to clear things up. I also ate a lot of yoghurt to help clear things up, but that's an old wives tale and I'm not sure if it helped a great deal. OK your disgusting sharing this private information with people who have access to reading this.... go to the doctor and or the pharmacy and spread this question and germs with them... GOOD LUCK and of course if you wash up youll get clean.... YUCK! humm no. the only way to really get rid of yeast infection is to use over the counter creams, but the best way is to go to the doctor and get antibiotics. If any questions ask them. Do wash yourself! Use a mild soap--soap without those weird scrubby beads! Don't use a wash cloth, just your bare hands and wash like you normally would. Then at night, use your medication as directed. Yeast infection is dangerous if not treated properly.Natural methods are there to cure yeast infection. Yes, you should wash regularly. Also apply some natural yogurt. It'll sooth the itch and redness. u need antibacteria soap and meds. all it is is a bacteria infection. lot of times comes from tampons being in too long 1: yuk no and no bubble baths they can cause yeast infection |
