Is Cream of Tartar Good for Yeast Infection: The Real Answer:

It is safe - BUT - it won't completely rid the infection until after delivery. Your body protects itself with that bacteria. It WILL however, relieve most of your symptoms. Just be prepare to re-treat throughout the pregnancy. This is VERY common during pregnancy. You may want to ask your OB GYN which cream they recommend (you should be able to just call their office & get this recommendation without an office call) - that way they can also note your chart that you have the infection.
Good luck!

It's safe but not necessarily the most effective solution...

Sooner the better.

The symptoms (you may not experience all of them):
- white cottage cheese-like discharge
- some odor
- dryness (can cause bleeding)
- digestive problems
- itchiness
- burning urination
- painful intercourse
- a feeling of just not being "normal"

Here are some safe, natural cures you can implement.

- avoid scented soaps
- avoid sugars and complex carbs for a week
- air out the infected area while you're sleeping at night
- add grapefruit extract to your water during the day (balances hormones)
- eat probiotics like cottage cheese and yogurt
- shower frequently
-drink lots of water and eat plenty of fiber to flush the infection

I used it when pregnant, but that was also 8yrs. ago, but I asked my obgyn first. I suggest that you call and ask your obgyn, they may have something that can treat it faster and easier.
