I'm getting recurring yeast infections. Should I see a doctor? |
Ever since I had my 7 month old, I've gotten a yeast infection every month right before my period. I have a two year old also and never had this problem before. Sometimes the OTC medication works, but sometimes not. Could it be something more serious? I would ask you if you are having unprotected sex. Sometimes a woman can pass the infection to her partner and in turn he passes it back. You and your partner (if this is the case) can go see a doctor and discuss this issue with him. There are some other causes for reoccurring Yeast Infection that you and your doctor can discuss to. Yeah you should go to the doctor, it may not be a yeast infection and that's why the OTC isn't working. Maybe, maybe not. You should probably go see a doctor though. |
