Is there a way to treat a yeast infection during the day?

I know there are plenty of creams available but is there any other, non messy treatment that doesn't require laying down for several hours in order to work?

Yes.

- You can try applying tea tree oil to a tampon and wear it during the day. Tea Tree Oil is a safe, natural anti-fungal. You can purchase it in most health food stores.

-You should be drinking lots of water, eating tons of fiber and eating lots of probiotics like yogurt and cottage cheese while you have a yeast infection.

- Make sure you don't wear underwear to sleep as to air out the area

- Avoid scented soaps as well.

You can find TONS of natural yeast infection cures through the source link below. In the meantime, here's some additional information...

Candida is a bacterial fungus that lives in both men and women.

More specifically called Candida Albicans, this fungus thrives in the digestive tract (as well as the vagina in women) and lives in harmony with acidic bacteria called Acidophilus.

The acidophilus, being an acid regulates the Candida Albicans (a base).

When people eat certain foods like complex sugars, the Candida Albican multiply and change the balance between the Candida and Acidophilus in the body.

Suddenly, the acidophilus can no longer regulate the outnumbering Candida.

This creates what is commonly known as Candida Overgrowth or a Yeast Infection.

Symptoms include (for vaginal infections):
- thick cottage like discharge
- digestive troubles
- burning
- painful urination
- itching
- bleeding
- soreness

A Candida diet should consist of leafy greens, very little sugar, plenty of probiotics (found in yogurt and cottage cheese), drinking lots of water and eating plenty of fiber.

Yes! The Monistat ovule is really great for day or night and you only need to use it once. I used it the other day and went about my business as usual. The combo pack even has cream to use if you are itchy around your vulva. I'd recommend it. Just make sure that what you have is actually a yeast infection and not something else.

I don't have any idea about your problem. However, I came across a blog about yeast infection. Hope you find your answer there.

:)

Yes, Monistat has a new ovule insert that stays in place for daytime treating. Better still is oral Diflucan, a one time oral (by mouth) pill to treat yeast infection. In the US it requires a doctors prescription but is worth it.
