Is it true that a yeast infections can be considered a pregnancy symptom? |
I was reading a response to a question on here and someone told another person that a yeast infection could be a sign of pregnancy... I was just curious because I've never heard of that before ive never heard of that either. It isn't a symptom of pregnancy as far as I know, but I know someone who got thrush in the last month of her pregnancy and they said it was due to warmth from both her and the baby, therefore increasing her bacteria and so on. I think you can get it naturally this way, maybe more if you are prone to it. it is not a sign of pregnancy but it is not uncommon for pregnant women to get a lot of yeast infections. Although, I think that happens later on in a pregnancy, not the begining stage. I guess thats just another reason not to trust what people say on Yahoo Answers. i don't think i ever heard that it's a sign of pregnancy but it can be a symptom - with hormone changes and increased discharge you can take a yeast infection a lot easier. I don't think it's on any symptom list I've ever seen. A yeast infection can arise for several reasons, though, that can happen during pregancy, but wouldn't be THE reason to go buy a pregnancy test. NO BECAUSE I HAD ONE B 4 AND IM 16 AND I NEVER DID IT IF U KNOW WHAT I MEAN. I DONT GO OUT I DONT HAVE A BOYFRIEND AND I DO SEX BEFORE MARRIGE BECAUSE IM A MUSLIM AND WE DONT DO THAT STUFF SO WHO EVER TOLD U THAT IS A LIER DONT LISTEN I am a Medical Assistant and NO yeast infections are not a sign of pregnancy. Who ever said that is an Idiot ive never heard that. im not gonna sit here and say its not a preggo symptom, but i highly doubt it. It just doesnt make sense. ah no. i'm not saying you can't get a yeast infection while pregnant, but it's certainly not a symptom No.. it isnt.. but pregnant women tend to get yeast infections very often during their pregnancy!!
