Yellowish discharge ? yeast infection????

what should I do about this? I was wearing white underwear and now I have yellowish discharge dried on my panties.

It does't smell or anything its just is yellow discharge of some sort. !

Depending on where you are in your cycle yellowish discharge can be an indication of the period that is soon to come.

If you are noticing an itch along with the discharge that looks like cottage cheese that is an indication of a yeast infection.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

When your normal white/clear discharge is exposed to air it will dry yellow.

If it's coming out yellow then you probably have a bacterial infection.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period

Yeast infection are not normally yellow, as opposed to what everyone else is saying. However, they are right about it having an odor. If it has an odor, you most likely have an infection OF SOME TYPE. You cannot self-diagnose and should go to a provider to check you out and prescribe medication for you to use. If you are sexually active, and have been unprotected before, it can also be the signs of an STD.

Please, schedule an appointment if it continues.

My granny used to say when it comes to vaginal discharge: White is right, yellow or green needs to be seen! Talk to you doc or gyno.

Discharge is normal the only thing you should worry about is if it starts to smell, it scared the hell out of me too lol.

Does it have an odor? If so then yes it's a yeast infection. Just go to your local drug store and get Monistat.
