Both parties need simultaneous treatment and yes refrain from sex. Men don't need to take oral Diflucan unless there's a rash on the penis. In that case, the man needs to see his doctor for a prescription. Topical antifungals work fine in most cases.

Get some cream from pharmacy (clotramidazole or canesten) can also buy oral medication like fluconazole tablets. Should refrain from intercourse until clear and ensure girl getting some treatment too.
