I believe I have thrush (yeast infection) in my breasts, who should I contact? |
My OBGYN or her pediatrician? I believe we both have it. contact her pediatrician. you may be able to get a cream for your breast and she will get liquid medicine for her. Your doc for you, and her doc for her. Where on your breasts? If it's not on your nipples, you could get some over the counter anti-fungal cream, but if it's on your nipples and you're nursing, I'd check with the doc first. I'm pretty sure if you go to her ped he will also write you a prescription at the same time. Give a call and check first. It will save you a trip and a copay! Both so you both can be treated |
