Why does Monistat (or any yeast infection treatment) need to be taken at nighttime? |
Is it just to prevent messes? Can I use it during the day? It's not like my body knows what time of day it is. I'm using the ovules btw, not the cream. I always use ovules. It simply keeps the medicine still while it goes to work. You don麓t have to opt in to Monistat however. There are plenty of safer and more dependable natural treatments... Its so it doesn't leak out and make a mess. The little ovules melt and make a serious mess so if you lay down it can't come out. But I think they have a new Monistat you can take in the daytime. Just make sure it says daytime on the box. because when you are in bed the medication will not leak out (after it has melted) as much or as quickly compared to being up and moving around its so the cream stays in place and there is some leakage |
