Sex, periods and yeast infections?

So here's the deal- I just had my period, my boyfriend and I also had sex about 2 days go. I feel like I might have a yeast infection- it burns after peeing and there's some itching. Last month right after my period I had similar symptoms but after a week or so they went away. I've also had a couple UTIs and I don't think that is what it is. I'm also on birth control, I'm not sure if that affects any of it.

Any ideas or suggests would be great!

They have yeast infection kits in the markets now.. You can test to see what it is right from home! A lot of people dont know that if they have a yeast infection that they can give it to their boyfriend as well.. and continue reinfecting each other.
