What causes chronic yeast infections? |
have always kinda had a problem with these. I dont wear thongs or pantyliners. I dont dushe or wear tight or wet clothing! Why do I always have a problem I take every precaution so that i dont get them. I hadnt had one in a while but i got one a few weeks ago. I tried using the monistat ( which is what i always use) it seriouly burned and itched so bad i had to shower it off immidetly i was almost in tears. So i took so AZO for yeast which got rid of the symtoms very quickly. then i stopped taking that and it was gone. Now i feel like its coming back. im asking in this section bc i get the most responses here. and i think we are all women A lot of things can cause yeast to get out of control. Antibiotics can set it off, so can a diet high in sugar. Yeast can grow all in your body too so it's possible you have yeast infection within your body and not just vaginally. You probably should see a Dr about it, but if it were me, I'd look to see if I was eating foods that contributed to an overabundance of yeast, and work on cutting them down. it may be ur diet, u should talk to ur doc cuz it may be something your body is getting too much of, or not enough of...have u taken any antibiotics lately?? those give me yeast infections everytime.or u can ask ur doc for diflucan, its that yeast infection pill, no cremes involved but monistat makes me burn too but only for the first day...if u push through it its not nearly as bad the second and third day You need a dietary change, its coming from with in and has found a way to escape. Have you been on any antibiotics? That can make it worse, yeast free diets and such, its good for your health..good luck~ try cranberry juice and yogurt they help to prevent yeast infections, though they will not get rid of one! eat yogurt... it helps regulate the good bacteria that you need to fight off bad bacteria ie; yeast. look for yogurts with live cultures I understand your pain 100%! Let me just say that I have had frequent urinary tract infections and yeast infections ever since I started having sex. It was like right before my period every month I would have one or the other or both! The monistat will work, the best time to do it is when you are very tired and going to sleep, so u can sleep through the burn/itch. Even the package warns you of the side effect. But what has helped me control mine is to take showers, find a soap that does not irritate you, always wipe front to back, drink water and cranberry juice, watch sugary alcohol drinks...Yeast infections are kind of all about the PH balance in your vagina, try talking to a urologist or do research yourself, but I think the above combination will slow and prevent the yeast production. Good luck! Eatiing sugar helps to cause this problem, but taking garlic pills will help to keep it in check. Take 2 garlic pills a day, and if there is a sign of itching, take like 2 pills every four hours during the day or 3 in the morning, and a few more later. They cost about 10.99 for a small package which usually lasts more than a month or get a big pkg (I would get the big one). This is what helps me and I was always having a problem with that too. One doctor swabbed the vaginal area inside and out with iodine and that took care of it. No pain or trouble, but most doctors don't like this treatment it seems. |
