What are the causes of recurring yeast infections and how can I prevent them?

About a year and half ago I started getting yeast infections every 3 months. Every time I went to the doctor, they just said it was a normal occurence for sextually active women, but that still didn't put my mind at ease.

I'm not sure what has changed, but I'm not getting them as often -- \now about every 5 months. Still, I worry if this will have some negative implications for when I want to have children in a few years.

Does anyone know what causes this? How "normal" is it really? Does this mean that there is something more serious wrong with me?

a sugar imbalance in your body. Go have some blood and urine labs done. This is a symptom of HIV and Diabetes.

no nothing is seriously wrong. you get the yeast infections from the non-presence of good bacteria. the answer is yogurt with active enzimes, this will provide the good bacteria inside your body and it makes you smell and taste good too

this sounds like im talking ****...
but it works. start drinking cranberry juice, it promotes bladder and urinary health.
drinking it when you feel the infection coming on, and drinking a lot like 5 glasses, helps
theres proven articles on it, all i know is it works

Guys can carry a yeast infection but we show no symptoms. If you keep getting it after you have sex you could be getting it from the dude. Make sure to wear condoms. Wear breathable clothing and keep your crotch clean.

refined sugar...
stay the FARK away from it, consume no more than 20 grams of it a day

and eat yogurt, take vitamins, and drink a decent amount of water

cut down on your yeast intake

ewwwwwwwwww !!!!!!!
