Which works better to cure a yeast infection?

I need to cure my yeast infection fast...which works better, Gyne-Lootrimin, Vagistat, or Monistat?

Dumb *** D R....you are supposed to eat the yogurt, not douche with it. Yogurt can help your body keep from getting too many yeast infections. And Monistat has always worked well for me..

The yeast infection/moniliasis is caused by candida albicans which flurishes in acidic media with abundant supply of carbohydrates. It usally folllows / occures after intake of antibiotics taken for other illness.It is also common in pregnancy, during course of contraceptive pill,pregnancy&due to change of vaginal ph to acidic&increased glycogen content. Along with vagina the intestine may also harbour the disease which should also be treated simultaniously.Husband &other sex parterner should not be forgotten.he may be digital or genital source of infection apart from vagina. Persons finger nails may be possible source of infection from scraching due to itching vulva.Both parteners (husband/other parterner)should be treated simultaniously.Usally this infection requiers specific or broad-spectrum vaginal passeries for 14 days including menstruation&should be extended for 14 days if the response is not satisfactory. An additional weekly dose of proper drug will help to erradicate the infection to large extent by doctors advise. If intestinal infection is suspected a swab from anal canal &perianal skin is taken for culture&sensitivity.The other precautions include intake of lactobacillus-preparations during the course of antibiotics &should be extended further for 10/15days is needed. One can use alum &potacium permegnat aqueous solution for washing the vulva&perinium(4to5 small pieces of both,of size of musterd-seed)) in 2 hundred ml of boiled &cooled water, 4to 5 times day after micturition,defaecation&sexual contact. Certain herbal preparations , which act as uterine tonic&help to stabelise the vagnal ph are helpful, in prevention &treatment of infection &are safe to use.Tab lukol(Himalya-drugs),Tab Myron(Alarsin) etc... can be taken 1tab 2to 3 times a day for 2 to 3 months with meals with the advise of doctor&under medical supervision However, in chronic cases culture & sensitivity test of vaginal ,anal-canal&perianal skin swab is needed to for proper diagnosis &treatment of the disease

I suppose Monistat is a preferred proven over the counter remedy. However, i prefer natural treatments myself...

poler bears really take the infection away. My doctor perscribed it to me when i had the same problem

in combination with a treatment tablet/cream frm the drug store also try:

taking hot baths with a cup of vinegar in the water
only wearing cotton underwear
absolutlely desperate? .. try douching with yogurt. The bacteria in the yogurt helps eat away at the yeast.
