Why is it that everytime I am sick and on anti-biotics I get a yeast infection? |
Is there n e thing else (home remedies) that work to help with the stinging? It's the nature of the antibiotics to kill bacteria and it can't decipher from the good and the bad. Next time you are given an antibiotic take acidophiles tablets or drink acidophiles milk. Also, tell your Dr. some antibiotics are more prone to cause yeast infections than others. when ever i go on antibiotics i eat yogurt and the live cultures in it even out the antibiotics and you wont get thrush or a yeast infection. just have one a day. and you wont have to even worry about fixing them :) Your doctor should recommend anti-Candida drugs with antibiotics because very often antibiotics provoke activity of Candida (yeast infection). Ask prescription for Nistatine. anti_biotics are the main cause of a yeast infection,, but we need them for the problems we have at the time ,, home remedies don't work for me .. |
