Yeast infection heal on its own?

hi guys!

i recently got yeast infection 3 days ago and i had all the symptoms (itching, burning, cheesy things). sorry if its kinda explicit.
however today, it has gotten A LOT better. (way less discharge and no irritation).

i didn't take any medicine nor did i went to the doctor.
can it heal on its own?

Also, i have been eating two cups of plain yoghurt, reducing the amount of sugar intake, and drinking TONS OF WATER.

i kinda used my common sense to do all that.. but i have no idea if that works. :P

A yeast infection will eventually go away on its own. It can also get worse. Basically it depends on certain factors such as your body temperature and what kind of clothes you wear. Mainly don't wear clothes that are tight (down there). Wear breathable clothes like cotton. Natural fabrics are best. It is not necessary to douche too often. If you douche you will be rinsing away your bodies natural ability to control the yeast growth. Eating yogurt is a really good thing for controlling and avoiding a yeast infection all together. Also yogurt is good for your intestinal tract. It's amazing how much better you feel eating yogurt on a regular daily basis.

it can go away on its own
but some of the symptoms you described makes me think it was a bigger yeast infection than you realize.

-cranberry juice is only good for urinary tract infections
- reducing sugar is very important, no soda, only water

but i would suggest going to a doctor and getting a diflucan pill. that way you won't have to deal with monistat.

Yes, yeast infection can go away by itself. You can also get Monistat or other over-the-counter medication to get rid of the problem quickly. You may also consider drinking cranberry juice and wearing looser/breathable clothing.

the yogurt is what made it go away
