BAD yeast infection- Monistat wont cure it- What do I do now? |
I'm 15 and NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE. Despite my name, I'm a girl. xD Those yeast infection cream kits, like monistat can almost always make it worse. Since it is so bad, I don't think you have a choice. You need to go to the doctor. They will give you a perscription for a medication that, in my experience, works within 30 minutes. If you let this go as long as you have, it can cause alot of damage and now you will be more prone to them for the rest of your life. I made the same mistake once and now I'm paying the price for it. Always have plain yogurt(no sugar at all) on hand. so the second you feel it coming you can eat a few spoon fulls. Always works for me. Acidophilus extra strenghth tablets can also help from them coming on. Stay completely away from any food that is starchy. I know what you are suffering with. Better to just go to the doctor and get it over with. It can lead to very dangerous infections if you don't. No plan B. Go now. Unfortunately, that's the only thing you can do. I know you don't want to hear that but the doc needs to prescribe you antibiotics to take by mouth. You Don't want to play around with this because it could spread to your kidneys. If you are experiencing any back pain than I suggest you go to the ER right away. Good Luck why waste money on over the counter meds knowing that its a chance they wont work when you can just go the the doc and you know for sure they will take care of it.you really need antibiotics I had the same problem. I finally gave in and called my doctor and they prescribed a pill for me - all over the phone. The pill was inexpensive and worked within hours! Please talk to your mom. That is the best thing you can do. She knows the best! go see your doctor dumb dumb There is NO plan B, I use to be the queen of yeast infections, if OTC stuff didn't work you NEED to go see your GYN! they have 1 pill that works and it takes about a good 7 sevens for it to clear up so stop wasting your money on that other stuff! |
