I think I might have an yeast infection?!? |
I just started having Pain in the vagina during sexual intercourse less than a week ago. Do you think it might be an yeast infection? If so, how long does it take to go away? What can I do to make it go away faster? Its not gross, well it is but its nothing to be ashamed off most women suffer from this at some time, some people suffer quite often actually. Yeast infections are more itchy than painful. Look at your vagina with a hand mirror. If it looks like little chunks of cottage cheese are down there... then it is a yeast infection. If it is, call your doctor and have them call in a prescription for you. Over the counter products will make it more difficult to clear up if it happens again in the future. With a yeast infection you usually have alot of thick clumpy discharge that smells kinda vinegary. Pain isn't usually associated with this, more burning and itching. I would visit your doctors to be sure what is going on. If it is a yeast infection make sure your partner is also treated or else you will just pass it back and forth girl... u know when you have a yeast infection. it's probably one of the worst feelings you will ever have. it's like a crazy, crazy itching that makes you feel like you are going to die and you also have this whitish cottage cheese-like discharge. you need to go to the doctor and get diagnosed, because if your vagina hurts during sexual intercourse it may mean an std. if your discharge is not white and it's like yellow or green, that's a sign of infection. better safe than sorry... Don't think those are symptoms of a YI. go to your dr. typically with a yeast infection you have foul smelling discharge and a lot of itching. i would go to a doctor and see what's going on! Yeast infection isn't just pain.It also the bad odor and itching.Go see a doctor soon. it won't go away by itself. it will only get worse. you should go to your local cvs and get a thing called vagasil. a yeast infection is more then pain you should see a dr and get it checked umm go to your gyna/obn yuck!...go get a gel you put in your vagina..to clear it up will take 3 days after that goto doctor. call the doctor...it could possibly be a STD. gross |
