What over the counter Yeast infection med? |
I have never had a yeast infection and need advice about what to buy ? Some good brand or even remedies too would help? the one i like best is Caneston...the 6 day cream...Monistat is ok but I find it can burn/sting.....dont bother trying a quick cure with the Diflucan 1 day tablet. The Caneston will bring relief quickly from the itching and discharge will change to dripping Caneston cream but will not be itchy, this is normal with all cures for thrush. Use the cream each night for 6 nights so it stays in longer. My Dr told me if your going to buy one do the 7 day not the 3 day. Get the suppositories, brand doesn't matter. If it doesn't work you may need to get something from the Dr, when I got one my Dr gave me something AND I used the over the counter med as well. Good luck! |

I understand not wanting to talk to your dad about this but since it is a normal thing that can happen to all women, you shouldn't feel shy about it. You can pick up an over the counter treat... The shot itself isprobably making your stomach feel that way,thoses hots throw your hormones all out of balance,also cause headaches,it's not the yeast infection,you need to read the side effe... I used monistat for my last yeast infection and it helped a lot. I've heard the yogurt theory too, but I'm not sure if it actually works. I've been told to stay away from any foods... I wouldn't use antibiotics anymore either. Taking certain antibiotics & steroids in a cause for yeast infections. Please read this link - it has good info on the causes & prevention ... In my expereince, they clear up the symptoms right away. Personally, I would start another one now.... maybe one of the 7 days packs (annoying as they are). You can also get a pill from your do...
