What would happen if i do nothing about a yeast infection?

i am not sure if i have a yeast infection. what would happen if i dont do anything about it?
aren't girls suppose to get a white sticky subsatnce..i think
i just dont wanna make a fool out of myself

If you have a yeast infection I assure you that you wouldn't do nothing about. The white sticky substance in women is very normal. If it's a yeast infection it'll look more like cottage cheese and your crotch will be VERY itchy. There are plenty of over the counter medicines you can get to treat a yeast infection. There are even Yeast pills which are much easier and less embarrassing than the other options. With medicine, a yeast infection can clear up in 3-7 days. Eating yogurt can also help prevent yeast infections.

I had a major yeast infection once before but didn't do anything but eat yogurt I wouldn't recommend that to you though You body is different from mine and may not heal itself like mine

It also depends on what caused it....If it was only by a slight chemical change say umm...by soap...you might not have to do anything just eat yogurt........

But yeh ....at least go to the doctor ....I did that at least

well i dont think u have a yeast infection. but if u find out u do, tell ur mom right away! i have a friend that had a yeast infection and didnt tell anyone because she was embarassed. well her yeat infection got worse and she ended up in the ER. then everyone knew! so if u know have it tell ur mom.
