I keep getting yeast infections. what do i do? |
at first the medicine i bought at the store worked, know it doesnt work anymore i just took the creme medicine and i still have a yeast infection You need to get the oral pill or pessary medication. The cream only works for the area that you put it on but the infection is higher up than that so you need to use a different type of medication to clear it up completely. x OTC products are only good to a certain extent. Go to a gyno and they will give you something that will work. Yeast infections are aggravating and so is going to the gyno but they can make it go away. You're body can become immune to antibiotics and then you can get a superinfection and that's what it seems lke you have. You need to go to the doctor. If it keeps coming back it is probably not a yeast infection. Get to your doctor ASAP to get it taken care of. Long lasting infections can cause infertility among other problems. Don't worry, just go! there are some reasons they keep coming back: Maybe it is time for you to go to the doctor the medicine will be stronger. |
