If I go to the doctor to see if i have a yeast infection will the doctor have to look "down there"?

If I go to the doctor to see if i have a yeast infection will the doctor have to look "down there"?

Yes. Most likely they will run a test to be sure it is indeed a yeast infection. It's no big deal though. Millions of women go through this and it's nothing to worry over.

Yes, sorry, and may have to take a sample of the discharge with a swab (doesn't hurt). My doctor's office has a nurse-practitioner (female) that I go to for my pap smears and such. You could see if your doctor's office has a woman nurse-practitioner if that would make it more comfortable for you--or maybe your doctor is a woman.
Even if you feel a little embarrassed, it will be such a relief to get rid of any infection you have! It's worth it.

Yeah, they take this metal thing and scrap the white stuff off the sides. You can easily get medicine at the store though instead of going to the doctor. Like monistat works really good, and it has two different things that you can use. There is cream or there is this pill that you put in there like a tampon overnight and you have to wear a panty liner or else it will leak everywhere.

of course they do
they put you on the bed and put your feets in stirrup
your vagina will be wide open
they look at your vag. and stick their hand. fingers in it
they do lots of stuff
