Can A Vaginal Yeast Infection Spread?

I just got a yest infection and I was wondering can it spread to my boyfriend? He is scared to have sex with me.

We do use condoms but right now were not even having sex, but his grandma says that it can still spread by me wearing his pants. (yes I wear underwear) I don't know where she is coming from?

I don't think that it will spread by you wearing his clothes, but yes you can transfer the yeast infection to him. He can have it without any symptoms, and can pass it back to you. Treat your infection and keep using condoms and you should both be okay.

If you two mature adults use protection, then the word SPREAD would not exist. Condoms are not always 100% but it will damn sure ease your mind and save you a trip to the clinic.
