What is better to cure a yeast infection?

I recently had a yeast infection and it was much worse this time then my first one a lot of itching :( I used over the counter meds like monistat but the cream that came with the kit didn't really help the itching at all. I did some research and got different answers about white vinegar but was desperate to try anything so I mixed some white vinegar with some water and cleaned the external area and the itching stopped right away so the meds could clear everything up. I would highly recommend it to help with the itching but use medicine to cure your other issue.

I believe you supposed to put it in your vagina but if you want some thing a little less messy then go to the pharmacy and pick up some Monostat or Canestin, these really work (and probably better then yogurt will) to heal a yeast infection. Avoid sugar, sex and alcohol until the infection heals.
