Okay, so I keep getting these yeast infections!!! Help?

I get creams and they seem to work but then I have sex and they come back. When I have sex we use plenty of lube. I don't know what it could be. Also, sometimes during sex it hurts. I've made a doctors appointment but I was curious about some opinions. This has been going on for about 6 months. FYI- I am a very clean and disease free women. HELP!!!

It is possible for your man to re-give you the yeast infection if he is not treated. You need to take your man to the doc appt.

Also, is it possible that you are diabetic? I kept getting yeast infections, then found out I was diabetic. The yeast love the sugar in urine.

Eat a lot of yogurt with the acidopholus (sp?). That helps restore the "good" bacteria that eat the little yeast buggers. Good luck!

What yeast infection treatments are you using? Chances are you are NOT getting rid of the yeast infection, just calming it down. If you use Monistat 7 (the only one that works is the 7 day treatments, not the 1, 3, or 5 day treatments), then you will get used to it, and yeast will become resistent to it. The doctor may prescribe you antibiotics, antifungal creams, or a pill such as Diflucan to get rid of the yeast. Also, if you are not using a water based lubricant, are using scented products down there, or you take bubble baths, it can keep bringing yeast infections back.
