Are yeast infections contagious between roommates?

I have been living with two girls that have a yeast infection. We have not shared the same shower, soap, or towels. I have the infection too. Did we maybe catch it from using the same toilet?

Yeast is everywhere. You can't avoid it. A yeast infection manifests because something in your body is out of balance. A healthy body shouldn't be bothered by a few stray yeast cells. Cut out all the sugar and processed food out of your diet as you recover and hopefully this won't happen again.

As for recovery, slathering yourself with very plain probiotic yogurt or the contents of some quality live probiotic capsules made into a past with water can be both relieving and effective in killing the yeast.
