So I went to the doctor today and I have a yeast infection AND a bacterial infection...? |
I got prescriptions for both and I was reading the directions and stuff and the yeast infection pill says that if I have dark urine I should call the doctor right away. BUT my bacterial medecine says that it could cause harmless darkening of my urine. SO if I pee dark should I be worried and call the doctor or not care and blame my bacteria medecine? Sorry for not warning all of you guys I'm sure you didn't want to hear about this. The dark urine caused by the bacterial medicine is normal. Usually a dark orange color. It shouldn't have any affect with the yeast infection medicine, but will just help with the pain. The dark urine that the yeast infection medication was speaking of is a different color and means you have a more serious situation, but obviously don't if the doctor told you it's a yeast infection. Plus your doctor wouldn't have gave you prescriptions for both if they aren't suppose to be taken together. Just take the medicines as directed and you should be fine. If the pain and situation gets worse though, stop taking the medication and see your doctor again. You should notice if they are or are not within at least 3-4 days. Drinking plenty of cranberry juice and water also helps the situations. do to the first warning I would call the doctor just to be safe.Drink fluids, more than usual. Ask your doctor this question. Also, your yeast infections will be less frequent if you only wear 100% cotton panties. Experience I would suggest you stop worrying and wait to see if it does turn dark. If it does call your doctor or your pharmacist probably could answer your question. Well you should be taking more of water and why do you want to try so much medicine, just take lighter dose so that you don't have side effects. get free ayurvedic consultation from drvikramchauhan@yahoo.com and chek www.planetayurveda.com Don't worry about the dark urine unless it has more pain attached to it than you had BEFORE you started to take the medications. In other words, if it hurts MORE when you pee, then you should call your Doctor or Pharmacy. |
