How do you know which monistat to get for a yeast infection?

Depends on how severe your symptoms are. If it is just a wee bit uncomfortable, then 3 but major discomfort & discharge? Check w/you pharmacist (or a female pharmacy tech) or doctor as it mihgt not be a yeast infrction but something a bit more serious. Antibiotics do cause yeast infection but evrybody reacts differently to a wide variety of treatments. So, don't be embarrassed it happens to all of us; knowledge is power and you took that 1st step in even asking the question. Best of luck & feel better soon.XO
better yet, dump some flour down there, a teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of salt, then stick your cooch in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
idk for you but I have had a yeast infection from the antiboitics and i asked my doctor for cream...thats all...and a pill.
I generally go with the 3 day treatment first. If the yeast comes back...you might want to go for the longer treatment. Also depends on how "massive" this infection is. If you catch it early, 3 days should be fine. I'm allergic to Monistat. I've found that some of the other brands work for me. Just thought I would throw that in there, just in case you have a similar reaction.
